What we do

We watch a wide range of Bulgarian and Bulgaria-relevant news sources, surface the stories that matter to an international audience, and rewrite them in plain, readable English — with the context a reader outside the country needs. We aim for useful, not noisy.

How it’s made

Stories are sourced and drafted with the help of an in-house editorial pipeline, then reviewed before publishing. We credit and link to original reporting where a story builds on another outlet’s work — we’re a translator and explainer, not a replacement for the original source.

Independence

Zulvata is independent. We’re funded by our readers and our newsletter, not by any political party or outside interest.
